June's event sees us the most extended line-up yet at Technolab, with something for everyone. Joining us for the night in the main room will be Inigo Kennedy, Stephen Brown, and Ryan Blackman. While in the alternate room Tunnel legend Steven McCreery plays a one-off special set just for Technolab.
Inigo Kennedy : A Single Minded Techno Pioneer
UK based Inigo has a high profile in eastern europe, but this will be his first time in Glasgow! A man of many alias' from the harsh industrial sounds of Tomito Satori on Exhibit and Helki Torsnum on Sheer to his increasingly experimental loop based output as Reducer on Instillation. In their own right, these alter egos have received much praise and continue to develop. The Reducer project has seen the most success and recognition - the material perhaps being the most timeless and far reaching. By way of example in late 2003 Jeff Mills began to express serious interest in Reducer releases from 1998.
Over the turn of the millennium and into the 21st century, his output has continued apace with acclaimed projects for many other labels such as Missile, Rodz-Konez, Cutting Pleasure, Potential, Ergonomix, Urban Substance, Morpheus, Native Diffusion, Blackout Audio, Speaker Attack, Electracom and Fylo including remixes for the Space DJz, Makaton, Robert Armani and others.
His DJ perfomances are almost always pushing three turntables and one or two CDs to their limits to provide a truly energetic, atmospheric, innovative and, dare I say, inspirational and challenging experience. High on the agenda at these performances is that classic tracks are as important and relevant as the most recent releases.

Stephen "Earl" Brown aka Potential Difference
His first live shows around 1991 could be heard at early Edinburgh dance club, "Soma". After numerous shows locally throughout 1991, Stephen retired to his bedroom to make music for the next 3 years. He spent his time wisely perfecting a sound which is uniquely his.
After having his music brought to the attention of DJax Records boss, Miss Saskia Sledgers in 1995, Stephen released a number of EPs out what seemed like nowhere. The first EP was a double pack on Saskia's own label. All Stephen's subsequent releases have been received with much praise. His music can be heard on playlists by DJs such as Laurent Garnier (see React mix CD), Claude Young, Anthony Shakir, Miss DJax and Neil Landstrumm to name a few.
He will be performing live for Technolab, so expect a good heavy chicago style workout.

Ryan Blackman (Far From The Sun)
Ryan first became exposed to underground dance in the mid 1990's. Numerous visits to London's underground nightspots provided the blueprint for what he is striving to achieve today. Clubs and organisations such as Lost, Megadog, Universe and other such legendary outfits provided the arena for some of the greatest artists and performers on the earth today. Jeff Mills, Derrick May, Plastikman and Underground Resistance were amongst many
"urban hero's" to shape Ryan's outlook and philosophy of music.
Having been witness to some of the greatest DJ's on Earth, Ryan has developed his own unique and distinctive style. Taking in pure house and techno and electro, Ryan's sound places an emphasis on the more funky, hypnotic and tribal grooves that rock dancefloors today. Seamlessly layering rhythms and sound, his DJ sets never lose track of the party's needs- to ROCK!
The last couple of years has seen Ryan slowly increasing his profile,
and in 2001 was awarded a residency at premier techno club, FLUX.
